Manage people, roles, and ownership

Workspace owners and administrators invite people from the Team area. Pending invitations display a masked address; ToDoddle does not return the full stored invitation address merely for display. A recipient enters or authenticates with the full matching address to accept.

Choose the narrowest access that supports the collaboration:

• Workspace membership grants workspace-level surfaces allowed by role.
• Project membership grants one project and does not imply workspace Team, Notes, billing, or unrelated project access.
• Project Viewer is read-only; Member collaborates; Admin and Owner manage the project.

Removing another workspace member and leaving yourself are different operations. Leave workspace removes your workspace membership and every project membership in that workspace. It does not delete shared data. A workspace owner must first transfer ownership to another member; after transfer, the former owner remains an administrator and can lower their role or leave.

Ownership belongs to the workspace, while the subscription and billing history remain attached to that workspace. A person leaving the company does not require recreating or moving the subscription.

When an administrator or Agent Connection owner leaves, also review project memberships, Agent Connections created on their authority, outstanding invitations, billing contacts, and any active agent claims. Disable integrations that no longer have a responsible owner.
