Known limitations
ToDoddle is in active development. Current boundaries include:
- Direct Messages are one-to-one. Multi-participant conversations are not yet available.
- Realtime refreshes open web sessions, but Web Push and installed-app notifications while ToDoddle is hidden or closed are not shipped.
- Search is case-insensitive database substring matching in one workspace. It has no typo tolerance, semantic ranking, cross-workspace search, or MCP search tool.
- The private MCP transport is local stdio. A hosted Streamable HTTP transport is not part of the current release.
- Agent claims coordinate one task at a time. Automatic project-specific queues, capability routing, agent-role matching, and reusable orchestration recipes are roadmap items.
- Cross-plan task moves stay inside one project; cross-project moves are unavailable.
- Context comments do not support attachments in the current version.
- Free workspaces cannot upload or stream video. Video delivery bandwidth metering and overage behavior are not yet a product feature.
- Enterprise is not self-service and has no published service or governance commitment.
- Customer-facing help is currently maintained as versioned source documentation; an in-product searchable documentation section is a separate delivery milestone.
These limits are not permission shortcuts. Existing workspace, project, file, billing, and Agent Connection access checks still apply. Prefer the documented workaround and track a feature request rather than building an unsupported process around an incidental behavior.
