Create your workspace

A workspace is ToDoddle's top-level collaboration and billing boundary. Public registration asks for a workspace name and creates that workspace for the new owner. Registration through an invitation creates the account only; accepting the invitation grants the invited workspace or project access.

Choose a recognizable team or company name. You can edit the workspace later from Workspace → Settings.

The creator becomes the owner. Ownership controls sensitive actions such as billing and transfer. Each workspace has its own subscription plan, limits, Stripe customer, and billing history. Upgrading one workspace does not upgrade another workspace owned by the same person.

To reduce automated abuse, one account can create up to three workspaces in a rolling 24-hour period. This is not a lifetime limit and does not restrict how many workspaces a person may join.

If you have no accessible workspace, /dashboard shows setup and invitation guidance instead of silently creating a personal fallback workspace. If you leave a company workspace or are removed, use that screen to create a new workspace or follow another invitation.

Before an owner leaves, transfer ownership to another member. The former owner remains an administrator and may then lower their role or use Leave workspace. Leaving removes that person's workspace and related project memberships without deleting workspace data.
